Dear UPA Supporter,

It’s time for our 2024 annual Greece Police UPA Charity Golf Tournament. The money raised in this tournament has been the financial backbone for our “Shop with a Cop” event. During “Shop with a Cop”, Officers of the Greece Police Department take underprivileged youth in our community Christmas shopping. For over 20 years, the Greece Police Uniformed Patrolmen’s Association has been proud to host this event, brightening the holiday season for numerous underprivileged and deserving youth in the Greece area. Children are selected to participate in this event by their school counselors, teachers, and/or our victim’s assistance liaison within the Police Department.

The “Shop with a Cop” program has allowed deserving youth to enjoy the holiday season while being able to interact with Greece Police Officers on a more personal level. Area Businesses have played a key role in sponsoring this event within our community. Through generous donations of gift certificates, products, services, and/or hole sponsorships, our successful tournament raised enough money to sponsor 32 children on a holiday shopping trip this past year.

Our tournament this year will be on September 3rd, at 10AM. Any form of donation to fund this event is greatly appreciated by all. Hole sponsorships are available for $150 or $120 per player to play in the tournament. Donations for this event can be cash or check made payable to Greece Police Uniformed Patrolmen’s Association.
